Sodalite Gemstone Kitten
Sodalite is a relatively hard yet fragile mineral. It was discovered in Greenland in 1811 but only became widely used in jewellery and ornamental pieces when massive deposits were discovered in Ontario, Canada in 1891.
A royal blue in its most common colour, it is generally found with white veins or patches. It is only found and mined in a handful of places around the world.
